vPenTest hosting regions

Overview

vPenTest is a software-as-a-service web application hosted on cloud infrastructure. The hosting locations store, process, and execute pentests and results within the app.

Regions

United States

• This is our primary and default hosting location.

• Application login URL: https://app.vpentest.io

Germany

• This location is for users in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions.

• Application login URL: https://emea.app.vpentest.io

What to expect

The regions are isolated hosting environments. Currently, you will not be able to have a single view for both instances of the application. We will work with partners who wish to move their tenant from one location to another, but this will be a one-time migration.

The location of where your tenant is stored also impacts the endpoints and source external IPs used for pentests. Please ensure you use the appropriate allowlists and public IP ranges when preparing for your automated external and internal pentests.
