How does vPenTest stay updated on attacks?
ANSWER The good thing about our platform is that it's heavily automated, so that gives our team a lot of time back to continue research & development. Our team consists of security researchers, as well as consultants who typically are part of red and blue teams. This means that we are constantly performing research to revamp and improve our attacks to stay up-to-date with the most recent threats.
Additionally, our security research team are heavily involved in the information security community. We also contribute heavily to the industry by constantly developing tools and scripts that are also used by other researchers and consultants of other cybersecurity companies.
As new security attacks and tools come out, we are constantly developing methods to verify and test the research to confirm. We also partner with several individuals who assist us with lab environments with setups that are relevant to the tools and attacks we're testing.
