vPenTest release notes: April 20, 2026
Our latest release includes a new integration, enhancements, bug fixes, and security improvements.
New feature
Autotask integration
Leverage this integration to automatically create and manage tickets for vPenTest findings directly within Autotask, reducing manual effort and improving remediation efficiency. After enabling the integration in Global Settings, you can authenticate your Autotask account, map organizations, and configure ticket settings such as categories, priority mapping by severity, report attachments, and handling of existing tickets.
Tickets are generated only after a report is released, with logic to prevent duplication by updating existing tickets when applicable. Users can also manually create tickets for individual findings, view ticket status directly within the findings table, and quickly access linked Autotask tickets.
This integration supports ongoing management, allowing you to edit settings, update organization mappings, and disable or re-enable the integration without losing previously configured mappings.
