vPenTest release notes: August 11, 2026
This release includes an enhancement, bug fixes, and security improvements.
Enhancement
Assessment emergency stop confirmation
The emergency stop confirmation message now clearly communicates that stopping an assessment will delay it and move it to the back of the assessment queue, not simply pause it. Users who stop and resume an assessment in quick succession encounter an additional confirmation step, reducing the risk of unintended queue disruption.
Fixes
- Confirmation emails are now sent for password changes.
- Users whose company or partner had no associated SSO configuration record were previously locked out of the application on login. These users are now treated as SSO-disabled and can log in and use the application normally.
- Partners with a large number of Autotask companies no longer receive a timeout error when resuming the Autotask integration.
- Partners with an Autotask or VulScan integration enabled no longer see a blank assessment page.
