vPenTest release notes: January 7, 2026

This release introduces a new feature and bug fixes.

New feature

Switching timezones for assessment logs

You can now switch between your local timezone and the assessment's timezone when viewing activity logs. This makes it easier to compare assessment activity with alert logs and ensures you consistently have the right context for your investigations.

Fixes

External IP consumption now aligns with scan utilization

External IP utilization counts now accurately reflect the active IP addresses detected during scans. Previously, the number of IP addresses shown as consumed on the dashboard was inconsistent with the number of active IP addresses found in assessment reports.

You can now trust that your IP consumption reporting accurately matches what was actually scanned, improving billing accuracy and resource planning.

Findings chart now shows assessment completed date

The History of PenTest Findings chart on the dashboard now correctly displays the assessment's completed date on the x-axis. Previously, the chart showed other dates instead of the actual assessment completion date.
