vPenTest release notes: June 3, 2024
New feature
CREST-certified pentest for EMEA customers
We're excited to share that with the launch of this new feature, vPenTest is now the first and only CREST accredited automated network pentesting solution in EMEA. Learn more about our CREST membership.
About the feature
Partners and customers now have an option to select a CREST-certified network penetration test when scheduling assessments within the vPenTest platform for any company in EMEA.
-
A CREST-certified pentest ensures that the entire pen testing process adheres to the highest legal, ethical, and technical standards under the terms of the CREST SOW.
-
The CREST pentesting process follows best practice in key areas such as scoping, reconnaissance, preparation, execution, technical delivery, reporting, and data protection.
How it works
-
Before scheduling an assessment, make sure the Company's time zone is in an EMEA region
-
When scheduling an assessment, the CREST option will show up at the very bottom of Step 1 in the Scheduling Wizard
-
If this option is enabled, all reports will have the CREST logo on it
-
Please note: Since Vonahi Security is a CREST member company, we cannot white-label CREST-certified pentests. MSP Partners must select Vonahi Security branding for your report if you'd like a CREST-certified pentest.
