vPenTest release notes: September 8, 2026

This release includes an enhancement, bug fixes, and security improvements.

Enhancement

File hash added to report and evidence file API responses

The V3 public API now returns a file hash alongside each report and evidence file. API consumers can compare the hash of a locally cached file against the value returned by the API to determine whether the file has changed, eliminating unnecessary re-downloads and reducing integration bandwidth.

Fixes

• The VulScan integration now connects reliably on the US instance.
• Users are now able to access reports from the Report Generated column after assessments are completed.
• Report purge dates are now inherited correctly from the partner-level setting when the organization-level purge setting is turned off.
• Demo organizations on EMEA and APAC instances are now populated with demo reports as expected.
• An error that intermittently prevented user invitations from completing has been corrected.
• Editing a member user's profile no longer silently removes their multi-company access grants.
